Case Studies, Garden Design, Interior–Exterior Continuity

Year One

A new-build garden as the developer handed it over: a rectangle of turf, a black fence, a strip of bare soil. One growing season later there is a dining terrace off the kitchen, a lawn big enough for a football, and raised borders doing the work the fence used to do. Same square metres, same fence, same viewpoint.
